Marlana Cannata

Chief Executive Officer

Marlana Cannata, CEO of Sabal Palms as of January 2024.  She is an experienced administrator of behavioral health and substance use services with a demonstrated history of working in the healthcare industry for over 25 years.  Marlana studied at Rutgers University and graduated with a BA in Psychology in   1989.  She went on to receive her MA, EdM in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University in 1992.   Marlana went on to obtain her New Jersey LPC licensure in 1999 and LACDC licensure in 2007.  Since then Marlana has overseen inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and substance use service lines in New Jersey, New York and most recently Florida.

Marlana is supported by her husband, of 16 years, along with their ‘menagerie’ of cats and dogs.  In her spare time, Marlana enjoys photography, boating  and driving around in her jeep.
