Director of Nursing

BarbiAnne has maintained the title of Director of Nursing for Sabal Palms Recovery, since its inception. A Florida native, BarbiAnne attended Keiser University, graduating in 2009 with her Nursing Degree, as well as St. Petersburg College, where she obtained her Forensic Nursing Certification. She continues to increase her knowledge base by currently attending Western Governors University to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing Organization and Leadership, as well as continued research in Addiction Medicine. As a Board-Certified Mental Health-Psychiatric Nurse, she has been a practicing in the behavioral health field for 15 years and holds the responsibility of ensuring that every resident that attends Sabal Palms receives the highest level of treatment from her team of nurses and behavioral health associates, with regards to detox and their continued sobriety.

When not working, BarbiAnne enjoys family time with her parents, her husband of 15 years and their daughter, as well as their animals, which include a German Shepherd, Great Dane and their feline counterparts. Her other hobbies include spending time with friends, gardening, hunting, swimming and travelling.
